Some stuff ... trucs

Well, after weeks on no inspiration, I suddenly have lots of stuff to write about. Not sure whether to write it all down now, and risk boring you (and me). Or try spreading it out a bit - though I may lose interest myself if I do that!

Lack of time pushes me to opt for the latter.

Here is swiss-land, given a rough idea of the population of each nationality in the area, you don't actually have to watch the telly to know who has won. You just need to know the two sides that are playing. For example, England has just been beaten by Portugal - I know this because loads of cars have been driving round beeping their horns. Knowing that there aren't that many English people round here, and that they're unlikely to be into the horn-beeing thing, I'm 90% sure that Portugal won.

Had our first go on Mobility today. It's quite flash walking up to a car, showing it your card and it opening, and being able to drive off at the push of a button. We didn't do anything amazing - just shopping and other stuff that's more difficult without a car.

Excellent weather here today - hovering around 28-30 most of the day. I'm greatful to have the lake and the mountains which generate a nice breeze to stop us from evaporating! We went for a walk by the lake this afternoon, and there was enough wind to make the water quite choppy. It was almost like being at the sea-side!
