Hot ... chaud

Did I already tell you how hot it is here?

I think it's been 30 degrees C or more every day this week - with not much respite and not even a thunderstorm to cool things down (well, not directly above where we live).

It's nice for going down to the lake with Little My and having a paddle, but less nice when you have to face the 20 minute walk from work to the station at 5pm, through an industrial estate with not much shadow or breeze.

I've even taken to unbuttoning my shirt to try and keep cool - well fresh, I guess I should say, as with the little belly accumulated on holiday, I guess I'm not a pretty sight.

Makes me think about the millions of people in hot countries with no access to clean (or cold) water, and who have to walk miles to get what water there is.

We westerners are definitely a priveleged bunch, and the ones that live in Switzerland are especially priveleged.

Even the ones with no car and a dead camera.

Hello,

;-)

Bisous à vous trois
