C'est Kalia qui voulait vraiment y aller. Rebecca s'est adapté, malgré sa grande peur des tyroliennes.

This was about Rebecca facing up to her fear of rope slides. It was Kalia who really wanted to go.

Elle a commencé petit, et y a pris goût.

C'était franchement sympa, et elles se sont bien débrouillés les deux.

She was actually pretty good, and progressed rapidly.

Les tyroliennes se faisaient de plus en plus longues. Sur celle-ci elle n'est pas arrivée jusqu'au bout, et en voulant se ratrapper elle s'est fait 'piqué' les doigts par la poulie.

She managed this one, but didn't quite make it to the other end. When she put up her hands to stop going further back, her fingers got 'nipped'.

Ce qui a rendu celle-ci d'autant plus effrayante. En plus elle a à nouveau pas atteint l'autre bout (trop légère), et n'a pas osé mettre les mains pour arrêter son recul, donc s'est retrouvé au milieu d'une tyrolienne, avec moi à un bout et Kalia à l'autre. Elle a dû prendre tout son courage pour se tirer jusqu'au bout - et à deux reprises puisqu'elle a laché la première fois. Quel courage!

So THIS one was very scary. AND she didn't reach the end, and started sliding back to the middle: this time she didn't dare to put her hands up. So there she was, in the middle of the rope slide, with Kalia at one end and me at the other. She had to summon up all her courage and pull herself along hand over hand to the other end. Not once, but twice (the first time she lost her grip). She was very scared, and very brave.
