Cette fois-ci c'est l'inverse qui m'arrive.
L'autre jour on a regardé le documentaire De chair et d'âme. C'était époustouflant, beau, touchant, exaltant. D'être de la partie lors de la première rencontre et la découverte mutuelle d'Alexandre Jollien et 'Monsieur Intouchable' c'est un privilège et une expérience presque mystique.
Mais alors, allez partager ça avec des anglophones...

But this time, it's the other way round.
Have you heard of the film 'Intouchables'? (If not, you haven't been reading properly).
Have you heard of Alexandre Jollien? Probably not, which is unfortunate, because he's a kind of philosophical & Swiss equivalent of Mr My Left Foot (in the sense that he was considered 'just handicapped' for years, before 'coming out' as a Real Person).
Anyway, the other day we watched a video/documentary of a conversation between the guy who's story inspired Intouchables, and Alexandre Jollien. It was astounding. Really. Amazing to eavesdrop on the mutual discovery and appreciation of two incredible people.
You can read about it in French here, unfortunately I doubt there'll be an English version of the film, and without subtitles, Alexandre Jollien is going to be pretty difficult to understand...
