Pour la première fois, avec Kalia nous avons fait un voyage 'père-fille' en Angleterre, pour les 50 ans de mariage de mon oncle et ma tante.

Les voyages ont été long, mais on est arrivé assez tôt pour pouvoir faire un petit promenade au soleil, avant de manger un bon fish & chips dans un des pub du village.

For the first time, Kalia and I did a Father & Daughter trip to the UK, for my uncle & aunt's 50th wedding anniversary.

It was a long trip, but we go there early enough to go for a sunny country walk before eating Fish & Chips in a local pub.

Ironie géographique, pour aller à la fête on a dû refaire un bout de chemin parcouru depuis l'aéroport jusqu'à chez mes parents; Kalia a profité pour se reposer entre sa tante et sa grandmère.

Frustratingly, the trip to the party involved going back along the journey from the airport. But Kalia made the most of having a nap between her aunt and Grandma.

Cerise sur le gâteau, et peut-être le point fort du week-end pour elle, faire un tour en scooter avec son grandpère.

Possibly the most memorable part of the weekend for her: going for a ride on Pop's scooter.

J'aime bien cette photo, on dirait qu'on est au plus profond d'une discussion théolo-politico-philosophique, mais en fait en était en train de comparer nos smartphones :)

Nice one this. We look like we're in the middle of a deep theological discussion, but we were actually comparing smartphones :)

We did do the deep discussions too, so all's well.
