On a logé "Chez Martine" près de Châlon en Champagne. Là où nous avons été il y a 9 ans lors d'un mariage. Comme à notre souvenir, le petit déjeuner était copieux et bon.
We stayed for the night "Chez Martine" near Chalon en Champagne. Where we'd stayed 9 years ago for a wedding. As on the previous occasion, the breakfast spread was wonderful.
Il faisait chaud dans la chambre nounours - il faisait chaud partout en France, on a vu des pics à 35/36 degrés pendant notre trajet.
It was very hot in the 'teddy' bedroom - it was hot all over France, we saw temperatures in the mid thirties and higher on our journey.

J'ai choisi de couper à travers la campagne au lieu de faire que de l'autoroute, et c'est ainsi qu'on est tombé sur ce château 'perdu' au milieu de nullepart à Champlitte.
I opted to not go all the way on the motorway (boring) so we head off across country and stumbled on this stately home in the middle of nowhere (Champlitte).
On a mangé dans le bistrot en face. Et ensuite cap sur Besançon, puis Pontarlier, et la maison.
We ate in the cafe opposite the stately home. Typical French bistrot fare. I like it.
