Le parapluie de mes 40 ans a souffert la perte d'un embout de 'baleine'. Puisque c'était signé par tous les invités à ma fête (et en plus c'est en fibre de carbone!) je n'avais pas trop envie de l'abandonner.Il y a quelques mois nous avons rendu visite à un ami, qui a un atelier dans sa cave. J'ai mis un moment pour avoir l'idée de m'adresser à lui pour me refaire la partie manquante. Suite à son accord, j'ai dû sortir mes vieux souvenirs d'ingénieur pour pondre un dessin de la pièce voulu.
Tout compte fait, je suis content des deux résultats!
My 40th birthday umbrella lost a bit last year. Given than it is signed on the inside by all the people who were invited to the party, and that's it's made of carbon fibre, I wasn't too keen on abandonning it.A couple of months ago I learnt that an acquaintance has machining tools in his basement. It took me while to think of asking him, but once I got the green light, I had to cast back to very old engineering days, to draw up what I needed him to make for me.
All in all, I'm very pleased with both results!
