Nous avons enfin cédé à la tentation et avons acheté un nouveau téléphone, mais attention - avec deux combinés !Il faut dire que ça fait environ trois ans que nous avons l'ancien téléphone sans fil. Au début, il y avait le 6 qui ne marchait pas toujours. Assez rapidement il y les autres chiffres qui se sont aussi désisté. Donc on utilisait l'autre téléphone (fixe) pour faire le numéro, et puis on transférait sur l'autre. Dernièrement, c'est carrément le bouton pour décrocher qui a commencé à faillir. C'en était trop...
...et on plus il y avait une offre spéciale.

We finally gave in to the temptation and bought a new telephone - with two handsets!The 'old' telephone (such notions being relative in the world of household appliances) had been playing up for the last three years. To start with it was just the 6 which was a bit sticky, but fairly rapidly all of the numbers stopped working. So we'd dial with one telephone, then talk with the other (the 'other' being of the walk-around-the-house-without-tying-yourself-in-knots variety).
Just lately, the button for answering conked - answering the phone became rather stressfull as you'd go press, press, press, press - one too many times and wonder whether you'd cut the other person off or not. So that was the last straw...
...and there was a special offer this week.
