Sledging ... Luge

 

Voilà deux ans que j'attends que Kalia soit assez grande pour aller faire de la luge aux Diablerets. On a pris le télésiège jusqu'au Meilleret, puis on a encore marché quelques centaines de mètres vers le Col de la Croix. La descente a pris 40 minutes! Avec quelques plantés (dont une avec deux autres luges qui nous sont rentrées dedans), mais le bilan était positif.

Elle a pris cette photo elle-même, et sur la base de cette journée 'spéciale', j'ai réussi à la motiver à commencer un journal.

Je suis aussi allé avec Rebecca luger aux Pléiades, en pleine tempête de neige, comme il y a 4 ans avec Kalia!.

I'd been waiting for two years for Kalia to be old enough to go sledging at Les Diablerets. We took the ski-lift up to Meilleret, and then walked a bit further towards the Col de la Croix. The trip down is over 7km long, and took us 40 minutes. With a few crashes and nosedives (one time two other sledges plouged into the back of us, it was a bit scary), but the end result was happy.

She took this photo herself, and after this 'special' day, she agreed that starting a diary would be a good idea. I hope I'll be able to encourage her to keep it up!

I also went on another day to les Pléiades with Rebecca, in the middle of a snow storm. Unfortunately I omitted to take the camera, so here are photos of me doing the same thing with Kalia 4 years ago!
