Lugrin

 

Avant la naissance de Kalia (peut-être plutôt avant la passage à l'Euro) on allait de temps en temps faire nos courses "à l'étranger" de l'autre côté du lac à Lugrin. Pendant les vacances on a fait une petite sortie là-bas, et on a mangé dans le café/restau à l'Intermarché.

Notre choix de table n'était pas très stratégique, droit en face d'une énorme télé avec MTV (ou un truc du genre). Autant vous dire que la conversation ne fusait pas, et qu'on a dû rappeler mille fois de manger.

L'avantage de manger en premier c'est qu'on est sorti du magasin avec le caddy presque vide :)

At the beginning of our marriage we would occasionally go 'abroad' to do our shopping, to the other side of the lake. Last week, we did a mini day-trip over there, and ate in the little cafe there.

We made a bad choice of table: right opposite an enormous telly with some kind of MTV showing. We had to keep reminding Kalia to eat! Chip off the old block.

The thing with all this 'modern' music is that the parents of French-speaking children don't have to worry themselves too much about what the lyrics say. Some of the stuff I hear on the radio from time to time makes my hair stand on end. I'm dreading the day when the "what does ... mean, Daddy?" questions start!
