Pendant que les filles jouaient au Babyland, on a eu le privilège de voir trois Canadair qui faisaient des tours pour chercher de l'eau dans la mer.

While the girls were playing in Babyland, we had the treat of three water bombers doing half a dozen 'rounds' to pick up water out of the sea.

J'ai bien attendu pour avoir cette photo avec les trois, de loin c'était un peu effrayant de les voir apparemment parmi les baigneurs et bateaux - j'imagine qu'il y a une zone délimitée, mais ça ne se voyait pas. Il y a une légende comme quoi un plongeur s'est retrouvé une fois au milieu d'une forêt après avoir été péché par un Canadair. C'est complètement faux, puisque les trous par lesquels l'avion se rempli ne sont pas plus grand que le diamètre d'un verre.

I had to wait a while to get this 'perfect' shot of the three at once. I imagine that there's some kind of safety zone, but from that distance, it did look like they were very close to the swimmers and boats. There's an urban legend about a diver ending up in the middle of a forest after having been scooped up by one of these, but it's completely untrue.
