Sugru

Ooh, un gros trou dans mon blog! On a eu du monde à la maison, donc j'avais pas beaucoup de temps mignon pour m'occuper de vous, désolé!

J'ai entendu parler du 'Sugru' il y a longtemps déjà, mais c'est seulement au mois de décembre que j'ai eu l'occasion d'en acheter. C'est un produit un peu bizarre: hybride entre colle, pâte à modeler et caoutchouc.

A la base, je l'ai pris parce que j'avais besoin de réparer ma montre (qui tourne toujours avec la même pile!). Mais j'avais un problème parce qu'une fois ouvert, il faut tout utiliser. Du coup j'ai eu l'idée d'ajouter un 'détrompeur' à la télécommande pour la voiture: c'était impossible au touchée de distinguer les trois boutons.

Je suis très content du résultat.

I heard of Sugru quite a while ago now, but only recently had reason/opportunity to buy some. It's a weird marriage of glue, plasticine and rubber.

The reason I bought it was to fix my watch (still going on the same battery!). But I had the problem that once you open the pack, you have to use it all. So I came up with the idea of adding a bump to the middle button on my keyfob (this was actually a regression of Ford - there was better diffentiation on the previous model) - the whole point of a remote is not fumbling for you keys in the dark, but I had to fumble to find the right buttons. Now it's easy to feel the difference.

Very happy with my 'handiwork'.
