Back to the farm ... Retour à la ferme

Mais oui ! On a tellement profité la première fois, qu'on a voulu retourner passer une journée, cette fois-ci avec château gonflable et tours en poney.

We loved it so much the first time, we just had to go back. This time there was a bouncy castle (too hot to touch for most of the day), and a pony ride.

Il fallait bien tenir le poney, parce que sa seule envie était de se barrer sur le pré pour manger de l'herbe.

The pony kept wanting to slope off to try the grass.

Partage de glace à la buvette. Ce qui nous a impressioné c'est que la famille élargie qui gére ce lieu s'installe aussi aux tables à midi pour manger.

Sharing an ice cream at the snack bar. We were very impressed that the family who run this place also bring their picnic along and eat it in the picnic area.

Rebecca tried (very briefly) riding a bike, as long as my back held out.

Les filles ont passé un bon moment dans le coin 'lecture et coloriage'.

The girls spent a long time in the 'reading and colouring' area.

Swimming pool ... Piscine

Le plus grand attrait des vacances pour Kalia c'est la piscine. Cette année elle a passé plus de temps sous l'eau que dans l'eau!

The main attraction of being on holiday for Kalia is the swimming pool. This year she spent more time under the water than in it!

Rebecca a été plusieurs fois dans l'eau, mais n'a pas encore eu le courage de se lancer toute seule.

Rebecca had a few goes, but didn't pluck up the courage to try on her own.

"Regarde Maman, je saute!"

"Look at me! Look at me!".

Après la piscine il faut se doucher, et après la douche, il faut se coiffer. Rebecca a voulu aider sa soeur.

After swimming pool, shower. And after shower, hair brushing. Rebecca decided she'd have a go.

Aigues Mortes

Une visite à Aigues Mortes passe toujours par le manége.

A trip to Aigues Mortes always has to include a go on the merry-go-round.

Un très petit 'jardin' devant une des petites maisons.

A charming micro garden along one of the 'back streets'.

On a réussi à faire la moitié du tour avec la promesse d'une glace. Après la glace, Kalia a décidé qu'elle se sentait assez forte pour porter sa soeur.

We managed to walk about half way round with the promise of an ice-cream. After the ice-cream, Kalia was feeling especially strong!

Barrel organs ... Orgues de Barbarie

Pendant les vacances nous avons eu la visite de nos chers amis Remy et Isa pour un week-end, nous avons été voir le festival d'orgues de Barbarie qui se tenaient à Calvisson.

During the holidays, our good friends Remy & Isa came to spend a weekend with us. We went to see a barrel organ festival together at Calvisson.

Les filles ont bien regardé, d'abord de loin.

En même temps il y avait un mariage.

Au cas où vous croyiez que Rebecca ne fait jamais que sourire et rigoler. Ici elle est fâchée parce qu'on lui a mangé 'sa' nectarine.
