Who is Rebecca? ... Qui est Rebecca?

On a 110 mails dans notre boîte de réception, si vous avez reçu une réponse, vous êtes parmi les privilégés. Si vous faites parti des 'autres', patience, ça viendra...

Pour ceux qui ne le savaient pas, je ne retourne au boulot qu'au dernier jour du mois ! Deux semaines de congé paternité (Matisa frappe fort !) plus une semaine de congé... Je ne me rappelle plus de la dernière fois que j'ai eu 3 semaines de congé de suite, mais ça remonte à loin! Aujourd'hui journée pyjamas !

On nous demande si c'est Rebecca ou Rébecca. C'est Rebecca, prononcé Rébecca.
Et c'est bien Junia, pas Julia. Google vous dira le reste.

Elle est vraiment petite, on a de la peine à croire que Kalia a été petite comme ça. Ce qui est fascinant avec un nouveau-né c'est qu'on ne les connaît pas - on ne sait pas qui Rebecca va devenir, sa personnalité, son caractère. Elle est 100% potentialité et possibilité. On a attendu quelques mois pour voir sa tête, maintenant on se réjouit de découvrir qui elle est.

In case you didn't know, I'm not going back till work till the last day of March! Two weeks paternity leave (Matisa strikes again!), plus a week off... I can't remember the last time I had 3 weeks off in a row, but it must be a long time ago! Today, pyjamas only (even if I did have to change them because Rebecca did a prodigious widdle on her way to the bath).

You may be wondering about the origins and pronunciation of the name Junia. For the origins (and controversy), I'll let you look to Google or Wikipedia. For the pronunciation, it is very close to 'Junior'. This is why for Rebecca, the 'strange' name comes second, whereas for Kalia it came first. Rest assured that it sounds very nice (but is no less rare) in French!

She is really small. We can't work remember Kalia being so small. What's fascinating with a newborn baby is that you don't know them - we don't know who Rebecca will become, her personality or her character. She's 100% unrealised potential for the moment. We had to wait a few months to see what she looked like, now we're looking forward to finding out who she is.
