Chuffed baby ... fière

Aujourd'hui, Kalia a essayé sa chaise pour la première fois... comme vous pouvez constater, elle était toute fière d'être assise comme une grande. En fait, aujourd'hui, entre sa chaise et son 'Gymini', elle s'est occupé toute seule pendant un bon moment.

J'ai travaillé depuis la maison aujourd'hui, puisque Mamma ne se sentait pas très très bien, et Kalia continue à être un peu enrhumée. Mais pour finir j'ai été très peu solicité, et peut-être même plus efficace que quand je suis au travail !

Aujourd'hui gros changement de temps, après hier - une bonne journée ensoleillée et juste à la limite (pour moi) maximale de l'agréable - aujourd'hui le déluge ! Il a vraiment beaucoup plu, et les températures ont chuté. Conséquence (on croit) inattendu - Kalia a beaucoup mieux dormi.

Pour ceux qui ont un ordinateur performant, et une connexion rapide, je vous conseille un nouveau 'jouet' - Google Earth - c'est un truc incroyable où on peut voir toute la planète et zoomer en relief et tout. Ils ont fermé le téléchargement ces derniers jours, j'ai l'impression qu'ils doivent être victimes de leur succès !

Today Kalia tried out her big girl's chair for the first time, and as you can see she was mighty chuffed with herself. What with that and her 'Gymini' she must have spent at least an hour today occupying herself, which is pretty cool.

Given that both Mamma and baby were a bit worse for wear this morning, I worked from home today. In the end, they didn't seem to need me much, but I think I probably got more work done than I usually do at work!

After a hot weekend - just about on the upper limit of what I can enjoy - a dramatic change of weather today with torrential rain and a big drop in temperature. One happy side-effect is that Kalia slept better today - let's hope she does tonight too!

For those of you who have a good graphics card, a wizzy computer and a very wizzy broadband connection, check out the latest cool toy - Google Earth - with which you can zoom in on a 3d version of just about everywhere in the world. There are differing levels of detail depending on where you go, but if you do install it, let me know and I'll send you some cool views (note: you may have to wait, they've shut down the download in the last few days, I guess their server must be having trouble keeping up).
