Chez Mantisi

Il y a quelques semaines on était invité à un anniversaire de 18 ans. Dans un restaurant tout pour nous. C'était italien, et exquis. Vraiment. Tout était délicieux. Ces antipastis.

A few weeks back we were invited to an 18th birthday party. In a restaurant reserved exclusively for the party. It was Italian, and delicious. Really. Totally delicious. Starting with these antipasti.

Et encore plus d'antipasti. Honnêtement, après avoir mangé ça, comment voulez vous affronter les tortellinis aux bolets (pas de photo)?

Then continuing with this. After which tortellinis in boletus sauce. Oh my aching paunch!

Et après les tortellinis, ce bon morceaux de boeuf à la sauce brune, avec un courgette farcie aux légumes et un mini gratin de pomme de terres?

After the tortellini, an enormous lump of prime steak, in a delicious dark sauce, with a courgette stuffed with chopped veg, and a little potato 'gratin'.

Et pour finir un vacherin glacé (et ensuite limoncello et café). Et tout le long des arbres à bonbon sur les tables.

Pas certain qu'on mange tous les jours comme ça Chez Mantisi, mais je vous le recommande!

The, to finish, ice cream cake, followed by limoncello and coffee... And there were 'sweet trees' on the tables too.

I doubt that is the menu every day Chez Mantisi, but I thoroughly recommend a visit!
