C'était mon meilleur pote quand j'avais 12-16 ans. Maintenant marié, père de 5 gamins...

On s'était déjà retrouvé un soir l'année passée quand il était en vacances par ici. C'était une joie de le retrouver, aussi pour les filles (pas certain qu'elles se rappelaient vraiment, elles avaient joué avec les enfants l'année passée).

We met up one evening last year when he was over here on holiday. It was a joy to spend some more time together after my birthday, for the girls too (though they hadn't really 'met' him properly last year, as they spent the whole evening playing with his daughters!).
