I heard the voice of Jesus

Celui-ci m'émeut profondément, je ne sais pas pourquoi - la musique, les paroles, les musiciens?

1. J'ai entendu la voix de Jésus, qui me disait,
"Viens à moi et repose-toi;
Tu es fatigué, allonge-toi,
Pose ta tête sur ma poitrine."
Je suis venu à Jésus tel que j'étais,
Fatigué, usé, triste;
En lui j'ai trouvé un lieu de repos,
Et il m'a rendu heureux.

Prend mon joug sur toi
et apprend de moi
car mon joug est doux
et mes fardeaux sont légers

2. J'ai entendu la voix de Jésus, qui me disait,
"Regarde, je donne libéralement
L'eau vive; toi qui as soif,
Courbe-toi, bois, et vis."
Je suis venu à Jésus et j'ai bu
De ce ruisseau vivifiant.
Mon soif a été étanchée, mon âme vivifié,
Et maintenant je vis en Lui.

3. J'ai entendu la voix de Jésus, qui me disait,
"Je suis la Lumière de ce sombre monde.
Fixe les yeux sur moi, l'aube se lèvera
Et ta journée sera illuminée."
J'ai regardé à Jésus et j'ai trouvé
En Lui mon Etoile, mon Soleil;
C'est dans cette Lumière de Vie que je marcherai
Jusqu'à la fin du voyage.

I have difficulty listening to this one without tears coming to my eyes, I don't know why.

1. I heard the voice of Jesus say,
"Come unto Me and rest;
Lay down, thou weary one, lay down,
Thy head upon My breast."
I came to Jesus as I was,
Weary and worn and sad;
I found in Him a resting-place,
And He has made me glad.

Take my yoke upon you
and learn of me
for my yoke is easy
and my burdens are light

2. I heard the voice of Jesus say,
"Behold, I freely give
The living water; thirsty one,
Stoop down and drink and live."
I came to Jesus, and I drank
Of that life-giving stream.
My thirst was quenched, my soul revived,
And now I live in Him.

3. I heard the voice of Jesus say,
"I am this dark world's Light.
Look unto Me; thy morn shall rise
And all thy day be bright."
I looked to Jesus, and I found
In Him my Star, my Sun;
And in that Light of Life I'll walk
Till traveling days are done.
