Aujourd'hui on a été à l'étranger...D'accord, d'accord. Depuis ici, en quelques kilomètres on y est, mais je suis encore suffisamment anglais pour être épaté de pouvoir aller à "l'étranger" en voiture et en quelques minutes !
En fait, on a été invité par un de mes clients (enfin, un des employés d'un des clients de l'entreprise pour laquelle je travail*), et on a passé une journée merveilleuse avec lui, sa femme et leur fils.
Ils ont une belle maison à la campagne avec tout plein d'animaux, que Kalia a pu découvrir - un perroquet, un chien, un chat, des canards, un cheval (que voilà), et un poney. Elle avait les yeux grands ouverts ! (Kalia, pas le poney, enfin, le poney je n'ai pas fait attention).
Et devinez ce qu'on a ramené avec nous ?

(* Je dois avoir un truc, je n'ai plus aucun contact avec mes ex-collègues de l'entreprise où j'ai travaillé pendant 2 ans et demi en Angleterre. Mais on s'est lié d'amitié avec un des clients, et il est venu chez nous en vacances l'été passé avec sa famille !)
Today we went abroad.Ok, from where we live, going abroad isn't a big deal, but I'm still English enough to get a little kick out of being able to go to a 'foreign' country in a few minutes by car.
We were invited by one of my customers (strictly speaking, an employee of one of the customers of the company I work for*) and we spent an excellent day with him, his wife and their son.
They have a nice house in the countryside with lots of animals for Kalia to discover - a parrot, a dog, a cat, ducks, hens, a horse (as shown) and a pony. She was all eyes (Kalia, that is, not the pony).
And guess what we bought home with us?

(* Strange. I haven't kept in touch with any of my ex-colleagues from the company where I worked in the UK for two and a half years - and yet I made friends with one of our customers while in Belgium: in fact he and his family came here on holiday last year!)
