Notre troisième jour à Hong Kong était une journée 'tranquille'. Nos hôtes étaient arrivés la veille, avec leur décalage horaire, alors on a essayé de ne pas faire trop de bruit. Je suis descendu à la place de jeux avec les filles pour dépenser un peu d'énergie (déjà plus de 400 marches pour descendre puis remonter).
Day 3 in Hong Kong was a 'quiet' day. Our hosts were back, and their jet lag with them, so we kept a low profile, and I took the girls down to the beach-side play area to let off some steam.
On est allé à pied jusqu'à Stanley, ce qui a fortement déplu à Rebecca, puisqu'il faisait chaud, et en plus son papa s'est trompé de chemin. Mais un petit arrêt au MacDonalds a tout remis d'équerre, et ensuite elles se sont amusés sur les rochers à la plage.
We walked to Stanley - much to Rebecca's disgust, as it was hot, and we took a wrong turn or two on the way. But all was put to rights with a milkshake from MacDonalds. The girls went for a little scramble on the rocks on the beach.
On a visité les petites ruelles avec le marché touristique, où il y avait pas mal de gadgets sympa auxquels j'ai réussi à résister.
We visited the tourist-trap market, where I almost fell for a virtual laser-projected keyboard (for which I have no use).
Le soir on est allé mangé de la pizza avec Claire & Robert.
In the evening we went out for more western food with Claire and Robert.
C'était vraiment un restauraut pour les occidentaux - nourriture occidental et prix astronomiques par rapport à ce qu'on a vu dans les restaurants les jours précédents.
Western food in a restaurant with mostly westerners, as the prices were pretty astronomical compared to the local restaurants we visited the previous days.
