Pour prendre le train pour aller à l'aéroport pour la suite de notre voyage, on a dû traverser le marathon de Syndey (en courant avec nos valises!).
Syndey marathon was on the day that we were to leave for Cairns, so taxi to the airport was complicated. We had to run across the route of the marathon (with our suitcases) on the way to the train.
Dans le train, Rebecca et moi avons été impressionnés par les bancs réversibles.
On the train to the airport Rebecca and I were very taken with the reversible seats.
Ce qui est drôle c'est qu'on a plus tard découvert que les bancs en bois dans les bâteaux qui traversent la baie de Hong Kong fonctionnent sur le même principe.
Funnily enough, we later discovered the ancient wooden benches on the boats across Hong Kong bay work the same way!
