Images

Vevey se donne comme sous-titre 'Ville d'Images'. J'ai toujours trouvé ça un peu prétentieux, mais le festival d'images cette année avait quelques éléments vraiment sympa à explorer: dont cette façade de maison, à l'horizontal, refletée dans un miroir. Petits et grands s'amusaient, et j'étais impressionné par l'inventivité des enfants et leur capacité à se projeter dans la verticalité pour créer des situations de 'suspense'.

Vevey calls itself 'Ville d'Images', which I've always thought is a slightly pretentious title (Ville sold out to Nestlé would be far more accurate...), but the recent 'Festival d'Images' had some good bits: including this fake horizontal house, reflected in a mirror. Kids and adults had a whale of a time playing on it, and I was impressed by the children's ability to think up 'suspenseful' situations and translate them into horizontal positions.
